This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard replaces GB/T 17223-1998 "students daily learning time for health standards" and GB/T 17224-1998 "a Middle School
Day learning time health standards. "
This standard incorporates GB/T 17223-1998 and GB/T 17224-1998 content, compared with the original standards, the main technical change
as follows.
--- Modify every class period;
--- Modify the morning reading, extracurricular study time requirements;
--- Modify the physical activity and sleep time requirement;
--- Increased recess and arranging requirements.
This standard is proposed and administered by the People's Republic of China Ministry of Health.

Students daily learning time for hygiene requirements
1 Scope
This standard provides the students daily learning time, sleep and physical activity time, recess and Scheduling requirements.
This standard applies to full-time general primary and secondary schools, primary and secondary schools can refer to other types of use.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1
Morning reading time earlymorninglearningtime
Morning before classes arranged by the school's self-study time.

Morning Reading curriculum arrangements, school, laboratory practice, in-class study time.

3 daily learning schedule
3.1 daily learning time
Daily learning elementary school, second grade should not exceed 4h.
Third grade, four daily learning time should not exceed 5h.
Fifth or sixth grade daily learning time should not exceed 6h.
Daily learning all grades junior high school should not exceed 7h.
Senior middle school daily learning time should not exceed 8h.
3.2 hours arrangements
Pupils per class time should not exceed 40min, morning four in the afternoon from 1 to 2.
High school students each class time should not exceed 45min, 4 am, 2 to 3 pm.
3.3 Morning Reading, extracurricular self-study
Elementary school, second grade. not arrange morning reading, leaving no written homework.
Third grade Saturday. Morning Reading should not exceed 20min, extracurricular study time should not exceed 60min.
All grades Middle School. Morning Reading should not exceed 30min, extracurricular study time should not exceed 90min.
