This document replaces GB/T 16931-1997 "Medical and functional grading standards for athletes with disabilities in winter sports", and GB/T 16931-
Compared with:1997, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) Changed the name of the standard to "Winter Sports Athlete Classification with Disabilities";
b) Added "Terms and Definitions" (see Chapter 3);
c) Changed the classification of disabled alpine skiing events, from "Nordic skiing triathlon" to "cross-country skiing, biathlon" (see
Chapter 5, Chapter 6, 4:1, 4:2 of the:1997 edition);
d) Deleted "Sit-skiing and sledding" (see 4:3 of the:1997 edition);
e) Added the classification of disabled cross-country skiing, biathlon athletes, disabled snowboard athletes, disabled athletes
