This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"
Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 16929-1997 “Test method for oil permeability of packaging materials”.
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 3);
--- Deleted "folding plate" and "dropper bottle" in the test equipment (see Chapter 4 of the.1997 edition), and changed "folding rod" to "metal rod"
(See Chapter 5, Chapter 4 of the.1997 edition);
--- Added the following information. animal oil should be lard, vegetable oil should be peanut oil, and changed "other oils" to "actual oil" (see
Chapter 6, Chapter 5 of the.1997 edition);
--- Deleted the sampling quantity and procedure, and added the requirements for the sample (see 7.1, 6.1 of the.1997 edition);
--- Added the selection of sample environmental treatment conditions (see 7.2);
--- Changed the test method for measuring the size of the specimen and the thickness of the specimen (see 7.3, 6.2 of the.1997 edition);

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

The property of a material that allows oil to penetrate or permeate its internal structure.
