This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"
Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 15171-1994 "Test method for sealing performance of flexible packages".
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Changed the applicable limits of the scope (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.1994 edition);
--- Added the terms and definitions of flexible packaging, rigid packaging, vacuum decay rate, target vacuum degree, and reference vacuum degree (see Chapter 3), and

1 Scope
This document describes two test methods for the sealing performance of packages - the underwater bubble method and the vacuum decay method.
The test principle, specimen, instrument, specimen state adjustment and test conditions, test steps, test results and test report of the method.
This document is applicable to non-vacuum packages and also to the sealing performance test of non-vacuum sealed packages that do not contain contents.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

flexible packaging
A packaging whose shape can be changed after filling or taking out the contents.
