This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting is required. This document replaces GB/T 14646-2007 "Passenger car retread tires". 1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods and markings for retreaded passenger car tyres. This document applies to the retreading of pneumatic passenger car tyres.

3 Terms and definitions

4 Technical requirements

4.1 Tire selection 4.1.1 A tyre that has been retreaded should not be retreaded again. 4.1.2 For retreaded tires, the sidewall markings shall include the following. ---Tire specifications; ---Speed symbol (or maximum driving speed); ---Load index (or maximum load capacity or level); ---“CCC” and other certification marks. 4.1.3 Tyres that meet any of the following conditions shall not be used for retreading. ---Production date exceeds 5 years; ---Speed symbol is less than or equal to L (120km/h); ---Obvious damage due to overload or lack of air; ---Carcass rupture or abnormal deformation; ---The tire bead is broken or damaged; ---Obvious corrosion by oil, chemicals or water; ---The tread is polished and the cord is exposed;
