Foreword
GB/T 14191 "Terms of Prosthetics and Orthotics" is divided into three parts.
---Part 1.Basic terminology of external limb prosthesis and external orthosis;
---Part 2.Terms of prosthesis and prosthesis users;
---Part 3.Orthotics terminology.
This part is Part 2 of GB/T 14191.
This section was drafted in accordance with the regulations given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
The translation method used in this part is equivalent to the adoption of ISO 8549-2.1989 ``Terms of Prosthetics and Orthotics Part 2.Prosthetics and Prosthetics
User Terminology.

1 Scope
This part of GB/T 14191 defines terms related to prostheses and prosthetic users.
Note 1.In GB/T 14191, the term "prosthesis" and its derivatives only apply to external limb prostheses; the term "orthotics" and
The derivative term is only applicable to in vitro orthotics.
