Foreword
This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 13519-1992 "Polyethylene heat shrinkable film".
This standard and GB/T 13519-1992 "polyethylene heat shrinkable film" compared to the editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- modified the classification (see Chapter 3);
- increased width deviation (see 4.2.1);
- modified the thickness deviation (see 4.1.2,.1992, 4.1.1);
- increased the number of segments per segment and the length of each segment (see 4.2.3);
- additional performance requirements (see 4.4);
- modified test conditions for shrinkage (see 6.3, 5.7 of.1992);
- a test method for the determination of friction coefficient (see 5.7.1);
- a test method for the determination of transmittance (see 5.7.2);
- a test method for the determination of wetting tension (see 5.7.3);
- a test method for the determination of heat seal strength (see 5.7.4);
- a test method for the determination of impact resistance (see 5.7.5).
This standard is proposed by the China Light Industry Federation.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Committee for Standardization of Plastics (SAC/TC48).

3 classification
Thin film according to the scope of application is divided into transverse shrink film and longitudinal shrink film two categories, see Table 1.
Table 1 Classification
Category of application
Transverse shrink film
To the lateral shrinkage as the main indicator, apply to the tray stacking items outside the packaging or cartons and other stereotypes
package
Longitudinal shrink film to the vertical shrinkage as the main indicator, applied to the fixed shape of the monomer or combination of packaging products such as packaging
4 requirements
4.1 appearance
Not allowed to affect the use of bubbles, perforation, stripes, wrinkles, fish eyes, impurities and other defects.
