Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 12247-1989 "Steam Trap Classification". This standard compared with GB/T 12247-1989, in addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows. --- Added foreword; - Removed open-up float steam traps, pulsed steam traps (see 3.1.2 and 3.3.2 of 1989); --- Added single-seat lever float type, double seat lever float type, pilot piston type, inverted bucket differential pressure type and pump type steam trap Type (see Table 1); --- modified the name of the closed float type, steam pressure type and so on (see Table 1 and Table 2, 1989 version 3.1.1 and 3.2.1). This standard uses the re-drafting method to modify ISO 6704. 1982 "steam trap classification". This standard complements the content in addition to ISO 6704. 1982. The main technical differences are as follows. - the removal of the product type (see ISO 6704. 1982, version 4.1.1 and 4.3.2) for the removal of open-type float, pulsed steam traps, etc. --- Added single-seat lever float type, double seat lever float type, pilot piston type, inverted bucket differential pressure type and pump type steam trap Type (see Table 1). This standard specifies the classification of steam traps. This standard is applicable to the classification and operation of steam traps.
