1 Scope
This document specifies the classification, raw material requirements, quality requirements, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, storage and transportation of corn flour.
The corresponding inspection methods are described.
This document applies to maize flour intended for consumption or use as a food ingredient.

3 Terms and definitions

This standard replaces GB/T 10463-1989 "corn flour."
This standard and GB/T 10463-1989 main technical differences are as follows.
--- Information about terms and definitions;
--- Increased inspection rules;
--- Increased the identification, labeling requirements;
--- Increased classification, fat content, ash content indicators and authenticity requirements;
--- On the "sand content, fatty acid value, moisture, odor, taste," the indicator has been modified;
