1 Scope

This document describes the method for the determination of the transverse rupture strength of sintered metallic friction materials. This document applies to the determination of the fracture strength of rectangular specimens of sintered metallic friction materials under transverse uniform loading under controlled conditions. 2 Normative references The contents of the following documents constitute the essential clauses of this document through normative references in this document. The process can be used to determine whether the sample can withstand static load.
