This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"

This document replaces GB/T 10072-2003 “Technical requirements for electronic flash devices for photography”. Compared with GB/T 10072-2003,
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Changed the technical requirements for "correlated color temperature" (see 5.10, 4.10 of the.2003 edition);
--- Changed the technical requirements for "flash durability" (see 5.11, 4.11 of the.2003 edition);
--- Deleted the relevant technical requirements and test methods for "flash leakage rate" (see 4.11.1 and 5.4.10 of the.2003 edition);
--- Added technical requirements and corresponding test methods for "impact resistance" and "drop resistance" (see 5.14, 5.15, 6.4.

1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements for electronic flash devices for photographic use, describes the corresponding test methods, and stipulates the inspection rules, marking, packaging, etc.
Packaging, transportation and storage, etc.
This document applies to the manufacture of external electronic flash devices that provide main light or fill light for camera photography.
This document does not apply to high-power studio flash units.
