Introduction
Plastic pipes and pipe fittings are widely used in urban tap water supply projects, internal and external building water supply projects, and farmland water conservancy and irrigation.

GB/T 10002 aims to standardize the production and use of rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) pipes, fittings and valves for water supply.
The olefin piping system consists of the following 3 parts.

1 Scope
This document specifies the rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) compound used as raw material, which is injection molded and pipe-bent.
Materials, product classifications, requirements, system applicability, inspection rules, marking, packaging and transportation of vinyl chloride (PVC-U) pipe fittings (hereinafter referred to as "pipe fittings")
Transmission, storage, and test methods are described.
This document is applicable to rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) pipe systems for underground water supply in buildings or outdoors with water temperatures not exceeding 45°C, including
Pressure water transmission and potable water distribution for general purposes. This document also applies to pressure drainage piping systems.
Note 1.For the pressure reduction coefficient at operating temperatures between 0°C and 45°C, see Appendix A in GB/T 10002.1-2023.
