Introduction
Feed additives refer to small or trace substances added in the process of feed processing, production and use, including nutritional feed additives
and general feed additives. For ease of use, according to product categories, GB 7300 "Feed Additives" is divided into the following 13 categories.
---Amino acids, amino acid salts and their analogs;
---vitamins and retinoids;
---Mineral elements and their complexes (chelates);
---Enzyme;
---microorganism;
---Non-protein nitrogen;
---Antioxidants;
--- Preservatives, mildew inhibitors and acidity regulators;
---Colorant;
--- Seasoning and food-attracting qualities;
--- Binders, anti-caking agents, stabilizers and emulsifiers;
--- polysaccharides and oligosaccharides;
---other.
The product of this document β,β-carotene-4,4-dione (Cantharidin) belongs to the 9th class of colorants, due to the fact that β,β-carotene-4,4-dione
(Cantharidin) is the second product standard released in this category, so this document is numbered as GB 7300.902, as the 902nd part of GB 7300.
