1 Scope
This document describes the non-flexing impulse test method for rubber or plastics hydraulic hose assemblies at high and low impulse pressures.
The high-pressure test pressure is greater than 3MPa, and the low-pressure test pressure is between 1.5MPa and 3MPa.
This document applies to hydraulic hose assemblies whose product requirements include those that are subject to impulse pressure in use.
NOTE. The flexural hydraulic impulse test procedure is given in ISO 6802.

4 Test device
4.1 Pressurization device, using hydraulic fluid circulation capable of applying pulse pressure to the inside of the test specimen at the rate specified in 8.2, while maintaining the fluid
