1 Scope
This part of GB/T 5237 specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and
Transportation, storage, quality certificate and order form (or contract).
This section applies to the heat of aluminum alloy for construction treated by anodizing, coloring and electrophoretic painting (water-soluble varnish or paint)
Extruded profiles (hereinafter referred to as profiles).

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 8005.3 apply to this document.

4.1 Product Classification
4.1.1 Grade, Status and Size Specifications
The grade, condition and size specifications shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 5237.1.
4.1.2 Paint film type and paint film characteristics
The type of paint film and the characteristics of the paint film are shown in Table 1.

4.2 Quality Assurance
4.2.1 Process

4.2.2 Raw materials
The quality of the substrate, the quality of the chemical reagents and additives for anodizing surface treatment, and the quality of the electrophoretic coating are given in A.2.

The chemical composition should meet the requirements of GB/T 5237.1.
4.4 Mechanical properties
Mechanical properties should meet the requirements of GB/T 5237.1.
4.5 Dimensional deviation
Dimensional deviation (including composite film) should meet the requirements of GB/T 5237.1.
4.6 Film properties
4.6.1 Film thickness
The film thickness requirements on the decorative surface shall comply with the requirements of Table 4. The film thickness level should be indicated on the order form (or contract), and the film thickness level is not indicated.
For the profile of the film type transparent film, the grade B is supplied.

4.6.2 Color difference
The color should be basically the same as the swatch agreed by the supplier and the buyer, or in the range of colors defined by the upper and lower color scales agreed by the supplier and the buyer.

4.6.3 Paint film hardness
After the pencil scratch test, the hardness of the paint film should not be less than 3H.
4.6.4 Paint film adhesion
The dry adhesion and wet adhesion of the paint film should reach level 0.
4.6.5 boiling water resistance
After the boiling water immersion test, the surface of the paint film should be free of wrinkles, cracks, air bubbles, no peeling or discoloration, and the adhesion should reach 0.
4.6.6 Wear resistance
The abrasion resistance can be measured by a falling sand test or a spray grinding test. When using the falling sand test, the amount of falling sand should be no less than 3300g; when using the jet grinding test,

4.6.10 Solvent resistance

4.6.11 Detergent resistance
After the detergent resistance test, the surface of the composite membrane should be free of blistering, shedding or other significant changes.
4.6.12 Resistance to heat and humidity
After the heat and humidity resistance test, the comprehensive damage level of the composite membrane surface should reach Grade 1.
4.6.13 Salt spray corrosion resistance
The copper accelerated acetate spray (CASS) test results and the acetate spray (AASS) test results are to comply with Table 5. Salt spray corrosion resistance

4.6.14 UV salt spray combined test results
The results of the combined test of UV salt spray should comply with the requirements of Table 5. The combined test of UV salt spray should be agreed between the supplier and the buyer to use the provisions specified in Table 5.

4.6.15 Weather resistance
4.6.15.1 Accelerated weatherability
The accelerated weather resistance of the composite film shall comply with the requirements of Table 5.
4.6.15.2 Natural weather resistance
When the demander has requirements for natural weatherability, the test conditions and acceptance criteria shall be agreed between the supplier and the buyer and specified in the order form (or contract).
4.6.16 Other
When the demand side has requirements for other performances, the supplier and the buyer shall refer to GB/T 8013.2 for specific agreement and indicate in the order form (or contract).
4.7 Appearance quality
The appearance quality of the profile before painting shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T 5237.2. Painted film should be uniform, neat, and not allowed

5 Test methods
5.1 Chemical composition
The chemical composition analysis method is carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 5237.1. The composite film on the surface of the sample should be removed before the test.
5.2 Mechanical properties
The test method of mechanical properties is carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 5237.1.
5.3 Dimensional deviation
The method for detecting the dimensional deviation is carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 5237.1.
5.4 Film properties
5.4.1 Film thickness
5.4.1.1 Anodized film, composite film local film thickness
According to the measurement principle specified in GB/T 8014.1, the eddy current thickness measurement method in GB/T 4957 or the microscope in GB/T 6462 is adopted.
