Foreword
To implement the Environmental Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Soil Pollution Prevention Law of the People’s Republic of China, and the Water Pollution of the People’s Republic of China
The Prevention and Control Law strengthens the supervision of irrigation water quality in farmland, guarantees the safety of cultivated land, groundwater and agricultural products, and formulates this standard.
This standard specifies requirements for irrigation water quality, monitoring and supervision and management of farmland.
This standard was first issued in 1985, and it was revised twice in.1992 and.2005.This is the third revision. This revision
The main content of the order.
1.Modified the scope of standard application;
2.Updated the normative references;
3.Added terms and definitions for irrigation water for farmland, paddy crops and dryland crops;
4.Added 9 agricultural items including total nickel, chlorobenzene, 1,2-dichlorobenzene, 1,4-dichlorobenzene, nitrobenzene, toluene, xylene, cumene, aniline, etc.
Field irrigation water quality selection control project limit;
5.Modified the monitoring requirements for irrigation water quality of farmland;
6.Increased the implementation and supervision of standards.
Since the implementation of this standard, "Farmland Irrigation Water Quality Standard" (GB 5084-2005), "Chlorobenzene, 1,2-Dichlorobenzene,
1,4-Dichlorobenzene and Nitrobenzene Limits" (GB 22573-2008), "Toluene, Xylene, Cumene, Phenol and Aniline Limits in Irrigation Water" (GB
22574-2008) repealed.
This standard is the basic requirement for irrigation water quality in farmland. Provincial people’s governments may formulate local farmland irrigation for items not specified in this standard.
Irrigation water quality standards. For items that have been specified in this standard, local farmland irrigation water quality standards that are stricter than this standard can be formulated. Local farmland irrigation
Water quality standards should be reported to the competent department of ecological environment under the State Council for the record.
This standard was formulated by the Department of Soil Ecology and Environment and the Department of Regulations and Standards of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
The main drafting organizations of this standard. Chinese Academy of Environmental Sciences, Nanjing Institute of Environmental Sciences, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Soil and
Agricultural and Rural Ecological Environment Supervision Technology Center, Environmental Protection Research and Monitoring Institute of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
This standard was approved by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment on January 9, 2021.
This standard shall be implemented from July 1, 2021.
This standard is interpreted by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
Irrigation water quality standards for farmland
1 Scope of application
This standard specifies requirements for irrigation water quality, monitoring and analysis methods, and supervision and management requirements for farmland irrigation.
This standard applies to water quality supervision and management that uses surface water and groundwater as irrigation water sources for farmland. Urban sewage (industrial wastewater and medical sewage
(Except water) and unutilized livestock and poultry breeding wastewater, agricultural product processing wastewater and rural domestic sewage enter the farmland irrigation channel, and its downstream
The water quality of the nearest irrigation point shall be supervised and managed in accordance with this standard.
