This document replaces GB 4706.51-2008 "Safety of household and similar electrical appliances for commercial use of electric food and ceramic tableware warmers"
Compared with GB 4706.51-2008, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Changed the category of protection against electric shock of equipment (see 6.1, 6.1 of the.2008 edition);
--- Changed the marking instructions for appliances, deleted the dangerous voltage marking and warning, and added marking and warning for appliances with external easily accessible surfaces

This document specifies the safety requirements for commercial electric food and ceramic tableware warmers not intended for household use.
This document applies to commercial electric food heating appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250V for single-phase appliances and 480V for other appliances
and a ceramic dish warmer.
Examples of appliances that fall within the scope of this document are.
