This standard replaces GB 4696-1999 "China Sea maritime aids to navigation", compared with GB 4696-1999, the main technical change
as follows.
--- special signs increased lamp type and quality requirements (see 8.3, 8.4 and 8.5);
--- Added "emergency wreck EPIRB" (see 9.3);
--- increased use of sequential sync flash or flash conditions and requirements (see 10.2);
--- adds features similar aids to navigation AIS aids to navigation and display characteristics consistent with its labeling requirements (see 10.3);
--- increased requirements when using water instead of fixing flag buoy function (see 10.4).
This standard is proposed and managed by the People's Republic of China Ministry of Transport.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the shape, color, light quality, marks China Sea water buoys and action are same fixing flag water buoys
Provided with its requirements.
This standard applies to transport, fisheries, scientific research, oil exploration, marine development and military departments in Chinese waters and its port, the sea estuary

10 General requirements
The shape and size of sea water standards set forth in 10.1 of aids to navigation should be consistent with GB 16161 of the relevant provisions.
10.2 the same type of water employed navaids synchronized flash or flash sequentially.
