Explosion-proof equipment is an important equipment used in explosive environments. The inspection and maintenance of electrical devices in use are of great importance to protecting the life of explosion-proof equipment.
The explosion-proof integrity of the cycle is crucial. In terms of the standardization of these activities, my country formulated GB 3836.16-2006 in.2006.
It was subsequently revised in.2017 and 2022 respectively.
In order to further ensure the explosion-proof safety of explosion-proof equipment in application and standardize the inspection and maintenance activities of electrical equipment in explosive environments,
This standard will be revised and converted into a mandatory national standard after revision.
Use of this document requires understanding of the following.
Electrical devices in hazardous locations have specially designed features to make them suitable for operation in such environments.
It is important for the owner to maintain the integrity of the features of these devices through inspection, maintenance and management throughout their life cycle.
Therefore, this document sets out details of the initial inspection and the following ongoing inspections.
a) subsequent periodic inspections;
b) Continuous supervision by professional personnel.
Maintenance may also be required when necessary.
Proper operation of hazardous location installations is not intended and should not be construed as maintaining the integrity of the above characteristics.
