This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GB 24539-2009 "General technical requirements for protective clothing and chemical protective clothing", GB 24540-2009 "Protective clothing
Protective Clothing for Acid and Alkaline Chemicals" and GB/T 29511-2013 "Chemical Protective Clothing for Solid Particles in Protective Clothing", and GB 24539-
Compared with.2009, GB 24540-2009 and GB/T 29511-2013, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The product classification is changed, "Non-air-tight chemical protective clothing-ET" is deleted, and "Air-tight chemical protective clothing" "Limited splashing" is added.
Chemical protective clothing" and "Fabric acid-base chemical protective clothing" (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of GB 24539-2009);
b) The code names of each product category have been changed, and the product category code of "airtight chemical protective clothing" has been added to "1", and "Limited Splash Chemical Protection"
The product category code of “clothing clothing” is “6”, and the product category code of “fabric acid-base chemical protective clothing” is “7” (see Chapter 4,
Chapter 4 of GB 24539-2009);
c) Increased the inward leakage rate for type 1c, type 1b (type 1b-ET) chemical protective clothing with the mask non-permanently connected to the mask

e) The technical requirements and corresponding test methods for the resistance to penetration of solid particles of chemical protective clothing for solid particles have been deleted (see
5.3.1.3, 5.3.3.5 and 6.9 of GB 24539-2009);
f) The technical requirements for the limited liquid-tight splash and the corresponding test methods for the overall protective performance of the limited splash chemical protective clothing have been added (see
5.3.2.5, 6.8, and Method 3 in Appendix C);
g) The technical requirements for limited splash chemical protective clothing have been added to the various performance indicators of the fabric (see 5.3.3);
h) The test methods of temperature and humidity pretreatment and wearing test for the overall performance test of chemical protective clothing have been added (see 6.1 and 6.2);
i) The pretreatment conditions and test conditions for the performance test of chemical protective clothing fabrics have been added (see 6.3);
j) The relevant content of the permanent product label has been improved (see 7.1, 7.1 of GB 24539-2009);
k) The test method for the inward leakage rate of airtight protective clothing has been added (see Appendix B);
l) Technical requirements and test evaluation methods for the practical performance of airtight chemical protective clothing have been added (see Appendix E);
m) The test method and end point determination method for the abrasion resistance and flexural damage resistance of the fabric have been added (see Appendix J and Appendix F).

1 Scope
This document specifies the classification, classification, identification, basic technical requirements and test methods of chemical protective clothing.
This document applies to the chemical protective clothing required by practitioners in the workplace and emergency rescue work.
This document does not apply to chemical protective clothing used in fire and other occasions.
Note 1.This document does not specifically propose performance indicators for personal protective equipment such as gloves, protective boots/shoes, protective masks, windows, safety glasses, and breathing devices.
Requirement, unless the protective equipment is an integral part of the protective clothing and provides corresponding chemical protection performance.
Note 2.The protection objects involved in this document include gaseous, liquid and solid chemical substances.
