This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"

This document replaces GB 18093-2000 "Logbook". Compared with GB 18093-2000, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes,
In addition, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The contents of the logbook have been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 8 of the.2000 edition);
b) The requirements for recording in the logbook have been changed (see Chapter 5, Chapter 4 of the.2000 edition);
c) The requirements for the retention of logbooks have been changed (see Chapter 6, Chapter 5 of the.2000 edition);
d) The provisions on the preparation, registration and issuance of logbooks have been deleted (see Chapter 6 of the.2000 edition);
e) The format and layout requirements of the logbook have been changed (see Chapter 7, Chapter 7 of the.2000 edition);
f) The font size and font requirements for the logbook cover have been changed, and "working language" and "printing basis" have been added (see Table 5,.2000 edition).

This document specifies the content, recording requirements, storage requirements, format and layout requirements, and printing and production requirements of the logbook.
This document is applicable to Chinese-flagged international seagoing vessels and coastal vessels with a gross tonnage of 500 tons or more or a main engine power of 750 kW or more.
