The standard Chapter 3, Chapter 5, Chapter 6, are mandatory, the rest are recommended.
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard replaces GB 17429-1998 "fire display panel General technical conditions."
This standard compared with GB 17429-1998, the main changes are as follows.

Fire Display Panels
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for fire display panel, testing, inspection rules and signs.
This standard applies to general industrial and civil buildings installation of fire display panel, installed in other environments with special properties
Fire Display Panels, except as otherwise provided by the special requirements of the relevant standards, with reference to the implementation of this standard.

3 Requirements
3.1 General
Fire Display Panels shall comply with the relevant requirements of this chapter, according to the provisions of Chapter 4 were tested to confirm compliance to the requirements of this chapter.
3.2 overall performance

3.3 Basic Functions
3.3.1 Fire alarm display

4.1.2 Test Samples

4.2 Basic function test
