Foreword
GB/T 13917 "Indoor efficacy test and evaluation of sanitary pesticides for pesticide registration" is divided into 10 parts.
--- Part 1. Propellant;
--- Part 2. Aerosol;
--- Part 3. Smoke agent and tobacco flakes;
--- Part 4. Mosquito coil;
--- Part 5. Electric heating mosquito coil;
--- Part 6. Electric heating mosquito liquid;
--- Part 7. Bait;
--- Part 8. powder, pen;
--- Part 9. repellent;
--- Part 10. Simulation of the scene.
This section is Part 4 of GB/T 13917.
This section replaces GB 1397.4-1992 "Insecticide test methods for pesticides for hygienic use in pesticides. Indoor efficacy test method for mosquito coils."
Methods "and GB/T 17322.4.4-1998" Indoor Evaluation of Mosquito-repellent incense for pesticide efficacy in the registration of pesticides for sanitary use ".
Compared with GB 1397.4-1992 and GB/T 17322.4.4-1998, the main changes in this section are as follows.
--- Combined GB 1397.4-1992 and GB/T 17322.4.4-1998, so that the method and evaluation can be achieved within the same standard.
Reflected, more convenient application;
--- The regulations on standard test insects were revised as follows. standard test insects of sensitive strains raised in the laboratory;
--- Modify and clarify the age of the tested insects;
--- Adjusted the number of test insects;
--- Modify "Time after the mosquito-repellent incense is lit" to "Ignite it for 5 min before moving it to the cylinder for 1 min"
--- no longer requires a blank control trial;
--- Specifies the way of expression in the standard;
--- Added specific requirements for the preparation of test results and test reports.
This section is proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China.
This section is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture Pesticide Inspection.

Sanitary pesticides for pesticide registration
Laboratory efficacy test and evaluation
Part 4. Mosquito coil
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 13917 specifies the indoor medicinal efficacy measurement methods and evaluation standards for mosquito coils.
This section applies to the determination and evaluation of the efficacy of mosquito coils for mosquito fumigation treatment during pesticide registration.
2 Test materials
Standard test insects of sensitive strains raised in the laboratory.
Area), female adults who did not suck blood on days 3 to 5 after emergence.
3 Equipment
3.1 Cylinder device (Figure 1)
The colorless transparent cylinder (C) is supported on the bracket (I), and there is a colorless transparent circular plate (E, F) above and below the cylinder. There is a circle in the center of the upper circular plate (E)
The hole is plugged with a rubber plug (G); there is a round hole in the center of the lower circular plate (F), which is plugged with a rubber plug (H).
For testing mosquito coils (A); rubber cylinders (D1, D2) at the junction of the cylinder and the upper and lower circular plates are lined to prevent smoke leakage.
A --- mosquito coil;
B --- mosquito coil stand;
C --- colorless transparent cylinder, with a height of 430mm and an inner diameter of.200mm;
D1, D2 --- rubber washers;
E --- colorless and transparent circular plate with a diameter of 270mm and a circular hole with a diameter of 20mm in the center;
F --- colorless and transparent circular plate with a diameter of 270mm and a circular hole with a diameter of 50mm in the center;
G, H --- rubber stopper;
I --- bracket, 300mm high.

3.3 Stopwatch.
3.4 Counter.
4 Test method
4.1 Test conditions
Temperature. (26 ± 1) ℃;
Relative humidity. 60% ± 10%.
4.2 Test procedure
Use a cylindrical device (3.1). Suck 30 test mosquitoes and put them in the central round hole of the circular plate (F) below the tube, and then plug the rubber stopper (H). Pending
After the insects return to normal activities, randomly take a section of the mosquito coil to be tested, place it horizontally on the mosquito coil, and ignite it for 5 minutes before moving it to the cylinder
After smoking for 1 min, immediately remove the mosquito coil, put on the rubber stopper (H), and count the time, and record the number of knocked down insects at regular intervals. Observation period is
20min. The test shall be repeated three times or more, and the mosquito coils used for the repeated tests shall be randomly taken on different coils. After each test,
Clean the test device.
5 Calculation
The repeated test data were used to calculate the KT50 value and virulence regression equation according to the linear weighted regression method.
6 Evaluation indicators
The efficacy evaluation was performed according to KT50.
The results are divided into A and B grades, and those who fail to meet the B grade standards are unqualified products.
Class A. KT50≤4.0min; Class B. KT50≤8.0min.
7 Results and report writing
Analyze and evaluate according to the statistical results, write a formal test report, and list the original data.
