Foreword
GB/T 13917 "Indoor Efficacy Test and Evaluation of Hygienic Pesticides for Pesticide Registration" is divided into 10 parts.
---Part 1.Propellant;
---Part 2.Aerosol;
---Part 3.Smoke agent and smoke tablets;
---Part 4.Mosquito coil;
---Part 5.Electric mosquito coils;
---Part 6.Electric mosquito coil liquid;
---Part 7.Bait;
---Part 8.Powders and pens;
---Part 9.Repellent;
---Part 10.Simulate the scene.
This part is Part 3 of GB/T 13917.
This part replaces GB 13917.3-1992 "Indoor efficacy test methods for pesticides registered sanitary pesticides, small aerosols and smoke tablets
Method for Measuring Indoor Efficacy of Pesticides" and GB/T 17322.3-1998 "Evaluation of Indoor Efficacy of Pesticide Registered Sanitary Insecticides for Small Cigarettes
Fog."
Compared with GB 13917.3-1992 and GB/T 17322.3-1998, the main changes of this part are as follows.
---Combine GB 13917.3-1992 and GB/T 17322.3-1998, so that the method and evaluation can be in the same standard
Reflect, the application is more convenient;
---Revision of the regulations on standard test insects. adopt laboratory-raised standard test insects of sensitive strains;
---Modified and clarified the age of the tested insects;
---Modified the number of test mosquitoes;
---It is no longer required to establish a blank control test;
---Added the evaluation criteria for smoke slices;
---Standardize the way of expression in the standard;
---Added specific requirements for test results and test report compilation.
This part was proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China.

GB/T 13917.3-2009
Sanitary Insecticides for Pesticide Registration
Laboratory efficacy test and evaluation
Part 3.Smoke agent and smoke tablets
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 13917 specifies the indoor efficacy test methods and evaluation criteria for smoke agents and smoke tablets.
This section is applicable to the determination and evaluation of the efficacy of smoke treatment of smoke agents and smoke chips against hygienic pests, mosquitoes, flies, and cockroaches during pesticide registration.
2 Test materials
Standard test insects of sensitive strains raised in the laboratory.
2.1 Mosquitoes
Area), female adults that did not suck blood on the 3rd to 5th day after emergence.
2.2 Flies
2.3 Cockroach
3 Equipment
3.1 Square box device (Figure 1)
The glass square box (B) is placed on the bracket (E). Inside the square box is a tray (A) for placing smoke agent or smoke slices. At any lower corner of one side
There is a small door (C), there is a worm hole (F) above this side, which can be plugged tightly with a rubber plug, and the other side is the whole door (D). When testing, the whole
Devices should be sealed

3.2 Mosquito suction tube.
3.3 Stopwatch.
3.4 Counter.
4 Test method
4.1 Test conditions
Humidity (26±1)℃;
Relative temperature. 60%±10%.
4.2 Test procedure
A square box device (3.1) is used. Release the test insects (50 houseflies, or 50 mosquitoes, or 30 cockroaches) from the wormhole into the square box and plug it
Put wormholes. According to the recommended amount of the drug to be tested, calculate the amount of drug required for the test. According to the method recommended in the instructions for use, after the application is completed within 3.1, immediately
That is to close the door of the box, it should be sealed and timed. Mosquitoes and flies record the number of test insects knocked down at regular intervals. 30min, will be knocked down mosquitoes, flies or all
Move cockroaches to a clean insect cage (mosquitoes and flies that have not been knocked down will not be recovered, and counted as live insects), and standard rearing should be restored (mosquitoes and flies should use 5% sugar water)
Feeding with soaked cotton balls, cockroaches should be fed with mixed feed block and soaked cotton balls). Check the number of dead insects at 24h (72h for cockroaches). Test should be set
Repeat three times or more. At the end of each test, the test device should be cleaned.
5 Calculation
Calculate the KT50 and virulence regression equation by repeating the test data according to the linear weighted regression method. According to formula (1), calculate the death of 24h (72h of cockroach).
The death rate, the result is rounded to 2 decimal places.
P=KN ×100
(1)
Where.
P---mortality rate, %;
K---indicating the number of dead insects, the unit is only;
N---indicates the total number of insects processed, the unit is only.
6 Evaluation
According to the indoor KT50, 24h (cockroach 72h) mortality rate for efficacy evaluation, the specific evaluation indicators are shown in Table 1.
The efficacy results are divided into two grades. A and B. When the two indicators of KT50 and mortality are not in the same grade, they are graded according to the mortality.
A product that fails to meet the B-level standard is a substandard product.
7 Results and report compilation
Perform analysis and evaluation based on the statistical results, write a formal test report, and list the original data.
