Test method to assess the toxic hazard of fire effluents using laboratory animals ICS 13.220.01 C80 People's Republic of China Public Safety Industry Standard Fire smoke toxicity risk assessment method --- Animal test method Released on June 14,.2004 Implementation of.2004-10-01 Ministry of Public Security

Foreword

The purpose of the "Fire Smoke Toxicity Hazard Assessment Method---Animal Test Method" standard is to meet the fire smoke toxicity risk prediction. And the need for material toxicity assessment. This standard is based on the results obtained in China's animal inhalation smoke inhalation test methodology and the application of experimental mice for material production. For the experience gained from the evaluation of smoke toxicity, refer to the ISO Technical Report ISO TR9122-2 (1990-10-15) Part II. Guidelines for the identification of bioassays (basic principles, guidelines, and methodologies) for determining the acute inhalation toxicity of fire streams. The experimental mice specified in this standard and their application conditions, experimental mice inhaled smoke exposure test methods, qualitative and quantitative evaluation of smoke toxicity The price method is consistent with the method guidelines presented in ISO TR9122-2. Appendix A of this standard is a normative appendix, and Appendix B is an informative appendix. This standard was proposed by the Fire Department of the Ministry of Public Security. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Seventh Subcommittee of the National Fire Protection Standardization Technical Committee. This standard was drafted. Sichuan Fire Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security. The main drafters of this standard. Li Bangchang, Liu Lin, Zhang Yu. Fire smoke toxicity risk assessment method --- Animal test method

1 Scope

This standard specifies the dynamic acute inhalation smoke exposure test method and the smoke toxicity evaluation method for experimental mice. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of smoke toxicity of materials, the evaluation of fire scene toxicity, the evaluation of smoke toxicity of full-scale fire tests, and the composition of components. The results of the analysis speculate on the toxicity of smoke toxicity.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard. 3.1 Refers to a person or animal in a polluted atmosphere, mainly through breathing, but also a type of injury process caused by some sensory exposure to poison. 3.2 Refers to an inhaled exposure with a short exposure time (typically 30 minutes). 3.3 Refers to the atmosphere of exposure to an acute inhalation exposure in the form of fluid dynamics. 3.4 This effect can be seen immediately or after hours or days with the poisoning effect of acute inhalation exposure. 3.5 Refers to the smoke yield of the most toxic material at a certain smoke concentration.
