This document specifies the general technical requirements for the resident identity card of the People's Republic of China. This document applies to the production, management and use of the resident identity card of the People's Republic of China.

4 General technical requirements

4.1 Certificate name People's Republic of China resident identity card. 4.2 Type of certificate A resident identity card is a card-type certificate with an embedded application-specific integrated circuit chip. The front of the certificate is printed with the national emblem of the People's Republic of China, the name of the certificate, the rainbow nuso pattern, the Great Wall pattern, and the issuing authority, valid Project name and project content for the duration. The style is consistent with Figure 1a); the back of the certificate is printed with a rainbow nucleo pattern, and the name, gender, Nationality, date of birth (expressed in "date of birth"), address, item name and item content of the citizenship number, and the holder photo.
