Observation of Earth Tilt and Earth Strain in Operation of Seismic Network
1 Scope
This document specifies the basic requirements for the operation and maintenance, quality control and product output of the ground tilt and ground strain observation network.
This document is applicable to the operation of ground tilt and ground strain observation stations, provincial operational centers and national operational centers.
2 Normative references
The contents of the following documents constitute the essential provisions of this document through normative references in the text. Among them, dated references
For documents, only the version corresponding to the date is applicable to this document; for undated reference documents, the latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to
this document.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
earth tilt observation station crustaltiltstation
Meet the requirements of technical standards, configure ground tilt observation technical facilities, and conduct continuous tilt observation places.
[Source. DB/T 40.1-2010, 3.3]
3.2
ground strain observation station crustalstrainstation
Meet the requirements of technical standards, configure ground strain observation technical facilities, and conduct continuous strain observation.
[Source. DB/T 40.1-2010, 3.4]
3.3
Observation point
The position where the earthquake precursor observation instrument receives the signal.
[Source. DB/T 51-2012, 3.3]
3.4
Calibration calibration
According to the provisions of 4.10 in JJF1001-2011, input the known displacement signal to the ground inclinometer or ground strain gauge to detect its grid value parameters,
Modify the grid value parameter if necessary.
3.5
data preprocessingdatapreprocessing
Correct the responses caused by non-crustal changes on the ground tilt and ground strain record curves, including removing various factors caused by instrument failures and human manipulation.
Spikes and step changes caused by invalid data, reset zeroing, etc.
