Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces CJ/T 235-2006 "vertical long-axis pump." Compared with CJ/T 235-2006, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Modify the requirements of major parts materials, material grades in line with the provisions of GB/T 20878 (see 6.4,.2006 version 5.4);
--- The test method was modified as required. The pump vibration standard was changed from JB/T 8097 to GB/T 29531; the pump noise standard was
JB/T 8098 was modified to GB/T 29529 (see Chapter 7, Chapter 6 of the.2006 Edition);
--- Modify the inspection rules as required, and increase the factory inspection and type inspection item list (see Chapter 8, Chapter 7 of the.2006 Edition);
--- Increase the requirements for vertical long-axis pumps for fire fighting.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and standards for vertical long-axis pumps (hereinafter referred to as pumps).
