1 Scope
This standard specifies the high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method for the determination of 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone in paints.
This standard applies to the determination of 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone in aqueous and solution coatings.

3 method summary
The aqueous coating sample was dispersed in an aqueous solution of acetonitrile, shaken, centrifuged, and the supernatant was purified by a 0.22 μm organic phase membrane. LC-
MS/MS detection, quantification by external standard method.
The solution type coating sample was diluted with ethyl acetate, shaken, centrifuged, and a certain amount of the supernatant was shaken and mixed with an aqueous solution of acetonitrile.
After extraction, the supernatant was removed and purified by a 0.22 μm organic phase membrane, detected by LC-MS/MS, and quantified by external standard method.
4 reagents and materials
All reagents were of analytical grade unless otherwise stated, and the water was first grade water in accordance with GB/T 6682.
4.1 Ethyl acetate. chromatographically pure.
4.2 Acetonitrile. Chromatographically pure.
4.3 Formic acid. chromatographically pure.
4.4 Ammonium acetate. excellent grade.
4.5 1-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone. CAS. 872-50-4, purity, 99.5%.
4.6 30% acetonitrile solution. Measure 300 mL of acetonitrile, 700 mL of water, and mix.
4.7 Standard stock solution (1000mg/L). Accurately weigh 0.0250g (accurate to 0.1mg) of 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone standard substance
In a 25mL volumetric flask, a standard stock solution with a concentration of 1000mg/L is prepared by acetonitrile solution (4.6). The solution is protected from light at low temperatures.

4.8 Standard use solution (10mg/L). Pipette standard stock solution (4.7) in a 100mL volumetric flask and dilute with acetonitrile solution (4.6)
To the scale.
4.9 Standard working solution. Dilute the appropriate amount of standard use solution (4.8), and dilute with acetonitrile solution (4.6) to prepare 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidine.
The ketone concentrations were 0.02 mg/L, 0.05 mg/L, 0.1 mg/L, 0.5 mg/L, and 1 mg/L working solutions, respectively.
