1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of hexachloro-1,3-butadiene in polymer materials for food contact materials by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.
This standard applies to the determination of hexachloro-1,3-butadiene content in PP, PE, silicone rubber and rubber.
2 Method summary
The hexachloro-1,3-butadiene in the sample was extracted with methylene chloride in an ultrasonic bath, and the sample was concentrated by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.
The test is performed, and the whole scan test is used for qualitative determination, and the selected ion is used for external standard method for quantification.
3 reagents and materials
Unless otherwise stated, the reagents used were homogeneously analyzed for pure or higher purity reagents.
3.1 Dichloromethane. chromatographically pure.
3.2 Hexachloro-1,3-butadiene (CAS No.. 87-68-3). purity ≥ 99%.
3.3 Standard stock solution. accurately weigh the appropriate amount of hexachloro-1,3-butadiene standard, and prepare the concentration with dichloromethane (3.1).
