1 Scope

This standard specifies the paint, ink 2,4 - dinitrotoluene content of gas chromatography - mass spectrometry method. This standard applies to coatings, inks 2,4-dinitrotoluene content determination. The detection limit of the method is 20mg/kg.

3 Reagents and materials

3.1 Carrier gas. Helium, purity greater than 99.999%. 3.2 dichloromethane. Chromatography pure. 3.3 2,4-dinitrotoluene standard material, purity ≥ 99% (mass fraction), or known purity. 3.4 Internal standard .2,6-dinitrotoluene, purity ≥99% (mass fraction), or known purity. 3.5 Internal standard stock solution Accurately weigh internal standard (3.4) 0.25g (accurate to 0.0001g) and place in a 250mL volumetric flask with dichloromethane Alkane (3.2) dissolves to volume. The solution containing the internal standard compound is 1000mg/L. 3.6 Internal standard working solution Accurate Pipette 25mL internal standard stock solution (3.5) in 500mL volumetric flask, with dichloromethane (3.2) to volume Scale. The solution containing the internal standard compound is 50mg/L. 3.7 standard solution stock solution (now with the current) accurately weighed 2,4 - dinitrotoluene standard material (3.3) 0.25g (accurate to 0.0001g) set In a 250mL volumetric flask, dilute to volume with dichloromethane (3.2). The solution contains 2,4-dinitrotoluene 1000 mg/L. 3.8 standard working solution (now with the current allocation.) Pipette 50μL, 300μL, 500μL, 700μL, 1000μL standard solution stock solution (3.7) and 500μL internal standard stock solution (3.5) in a 10mL volumetric flask with dichloromethane (3.2) to volume, as a standard working solution. The series of solutions contain internal standard compound with the concentration of 50mg/L and the concentration of 5mg/L, 30mg/L, 50mg/L, 70mg/L, 100mg/L of 2,4-dinitrotoluene standard working solution.
