1 Scope

4 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise indicated, the reagents used were of analytical grade water for the three water GB/T 6682 stipulated.
4.1 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy benzophenone (C14H12O3, CAS number. 131-57-7). purity of greater than 99.0% (mass fraction).
4.2 acetic acid.
4.3 ethanol.
4.4 Refined olive oil.
4.5 acetonitrile chromatography.
4.6 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution. Weigh 30g (accurate to 0.1g) in glacial acetic acid (4.2) in 1L flask, water volume.
4.7 10% (by volume) ethanol. Measure 100mL anhydrous ethanol (4.3) in 1L flask, water volume.
4.8 20% (by volume) ethanol. amount of 200mL ethanol (4.3) in 1L flask, water volume.
4.9 50% (by volume) ethanol. amount of 500mL ethanol (4.3) in 1L flask, water volume.
