1 Scope
This standard specifies the cobalt, arsenic, chromium, tin, bromine and determination of lead rubber products screened with an energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry.
This standard applies to all types of rubber products, cobalt, arsenic, chromium, tin, lead and bromine screening concentration range of each analyte as shown in Table 1.
Table 1 rubber products, cobalt, arsenic, chromium, tin, lead and bromine screening assays range milligrams per kilogram
Eligible screening element compound content limit of determination
Co P≤ (318-3σ) cobalt dichloride ≤700
As P≤ (456-3σ) ≤700 arsenic pentoxide
Cr P≤ (244-3σ) hydrated sodium dichromate ≤700
Sn P≤ (279-3σ) dibutyl tin oxide ≤700
Br P≤ (523-3σ) six HBCD ≤700
Pb P≤ (418-3σ) lead acetate trihydrate ≤700
Note. P = pass limit, σ represents precision.

3 Method summary
The prepared sample piece is placed energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer ray beam at the selected instrument conditions, measure
X-ray fluorescence intensity of the film sample analyte characteristic lines, according to the quantitative relationship between X-ray fluorescence intensity measured between the elements, and
Elemental interference between correction, calculate the amount of analyte.
