1 Scope
This standard specifies the X-ray fluorescence spectrometry method for semi-quantitative screening assays energy dispersive paint lead content.
This standard applies to the lead content of the paint was measured by energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry method of semi-quantitative screening.

4 Reagents
Unless otherwise specified, water GB/T 6682 third grade water as specified, reagents were of analytical grade.
4.1 lead nitrate, pure class distinctions.
4.2 ethanol.
4.3 coated plate according to GB/T 22788-2008 test for lead-free liquid coatings.
5 instruments and equipment
5.1 energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer.
5.2 Analysis of balance. a sense of the amount of 0.1mg.
5.3 magnetic stirrer.
Preparation 6 samples
6.1 lead standard solution (5000mg/L). Weigh accurately a certain amount of lead nitrate (4.1), accurate to 0.1mg, with 5mL ~ 10mL water
After completely dissolved with anhydrous ethanol (4.2) volume, formulated as 5000mg/L lead standard stock solution and set aside.
NOTE. ethanol's role is to lead in the standard working solution preparation process better standard stock solution mixed with the paint matrix evenly.
