This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard replaces SN 0331-1994 "export of livestock products in Bacillus anthracis test methods."
This standard compared with SN 0331-1994, major technical changes are as follows.
--- Remove the soybean lectin absorption experiments, phage lysis test, beads and animal experiments;
--- Increased capsular staining, Ascoli reaction and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test.
This standard is proposed and managed by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration Committee.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the export of livestock anthrax testing.
This standard is applicable to the export mane, wool, cashmere, wild animal fur, raw bone particles and other animal products in Bacillus anthracis test.

Anthrax is a zoonotic disease, the test environment and execution protection requirements in accordance with GB 19489.
4 media and reagents
4.1 sterile defibrinated sheep blood (or horse blood).
4.2 anthrax precipitin standard antigen.
