| Summary | This standard specifies the use vapor pressure osmometry (VPO method referred to) determination of petroleum waxes and petroleum grease molecular approach. This standard applies to paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax, liquid paraffin, white oil, petrolatum and be o-dichlorobenzene, toluene solvent to dissolve the special wax, not for easy association or dissociation of the material. This standard contains the standard curve method and instrument constant method, in which the standard curve method applies only to molecular weight <800 samples, the instrument constant method applies to all measuring ranges. This standard is not right with the use of all of the safety concerns, if any, therefore, the user of this standard, users should establish appropriate safety and health practices and to develop appropriate management system. |
