1 Scope

This document specifies the management requirements for gas extraction pumping stations, pipelines, ancillary equipment, drilling holes, monitoring, and testing. This document is applicable to coal mines with water ring gas extraction systems.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 15663.8 and the following apply to this document. 3.1 Gas extraction system A general term for equipment and facilities consisting of gas extraction pumps, gas extraction pipelines, extraction boreholes and ancillary devices. 3.2 Cooling circulating water system It is composed of cooling equipment, water pumps and pipelines, etc. It uses circulating water to absorb the heat generated by the water ring extraction pump and discharge it to reduce the water ring The general term for the water supply system that can be recycled during the operation of the extraction pump.

4 Gas extraction pump station management

4.1 The electrical and communication, construction, fire protection, water supply and drainage, and pump room ventilation of the gas extraction pump station shall comply with the provisions of GB 50471. 4.2 The ground gas extraction pump room should not be used as other office space and material warehouse unrelated to gas extraction. 4.3 A management system or operating procedures shall be established for the start-up, shutdown, pump reversal, daily maintenance and overhaul of the gas extraction pump. 4.4 The gas extraction pump in operation should be switched back to a normal state every three months. 4.5 The cooling water circulation system should be equipped with a circulating water pump of sufficient capacity and at least one set of circulating water pump of the same capacity as a backup. The backup system should be switched on at least once and inspected at least once a month.
