This standard applies to transparent and opaque liquids (such as base oils, blended lubricants, diesel, biodiesel, biodiesel blended fuels and lubricants in use). The kinematic viscosity range is 2mm^(2)/s~1500mm^ (2) / s (see Figure 1), the temperature range is 20 �� C ~ 150 �� C. The range of kinematic viscosity measurement is related to the actual bolometer constant used. The precision specified in this standard only considers the following range of kinematic viscosity: for base oils, blended lubricants, diesel, biodiesel and biodiesel blended fuels, the 40��C kinematic viscosity range is 2mm^(2)/s~478mm^ (2) / s; for base oils and blending lubricants, 100
