| Summary | This standard specifies the method for measuring the vapor pressure of volatile liquid petroleum products, aviation turbine fuel, hydrocarbons, and hydrocarbon-oxygenated compound mixtures in a vacuum using an automatic vapor pressure tester. This standard applies to volatile liquid samples with a boiling point higher than 0C, a gas-liquid ratio of 4:1, and a vapor pressure of 7kPa150kPa at 37.8C. It also applies to liquid samples with a boiling point higher than 0C, gas-liquid An aviation turbine fuel sample with a ratio of 4:1 and a vapor pressure of OkPa to 110kPa at 25C to 100C. The amount of liquid sample required for the determination is related to the selected gas-liquid ratio (see note) and the volume capacity of the test chamber of the instrument (see 6.1.1 and its note). The gasoline and gasoline measured at a gas-liquid ratio of 4 |
