3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Wrecked object at sea Various types of floating rafts, persons, containers or other search targets or evidence that are missing or in distress are being sought in maritime search operations. 3.2 Total current The vector sum of the various currents in the sea area where the target is located.
