| Summary | This standard specifies the classification and grading, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage of water-based anti-corrosion coatings for metal structures. This standard applies to atmospheric corrosion rating C4 as defined in ISO 12944-2:2017. This standard does not apply to water-based anti-corrosion coatings for steel and aluminum alloy structures used under the following conditions. It does not apply to water-based anti-corrosion coatings for metal structures used in corrosive environments such as immersion, burial, and tank linings, or in highly corrosive atmospheric corrosion environments (C5 and CX). |
