Foreword
This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 9176-2006 "Silkworm cocoon".
This standard and GB/T 9176-2006 compared to the main changes are as follows.
--- increase the cleanliness, desorption rate, hair cocoon rate, cocoon rate and cocoon terminology and definition;
--- modified the silkworm cocoon, million meters roughen and silk cocoon rate of the terms and definitions;
--- increased technical requirements;
--- modified the composition and marking method of the quality mark;
--- increase the packaging and logo, storage and transportation items in the product name, quality signs, processing units and product standards and so on.
This standard is proposed by China Fiber Inspection Bureau.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Fiber Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC513).
