Foreword
This standard replaces GB/T 8139-1987 "dewaxed shellac, decolorized shellac and dewaxed shellac decolorized."
This standard compared with GB/T 8139-1987, the main changes are as follows.
--- Increasing the normative references;
--- Modify the content of terms and definitions;
--- Remove the technical requirements must be measured, election test, note the requirements;
--- Modify the value of the technical requirements of hot ethanol insolubles and waxy indicators;
--- Amend the provisions of the rules of inspection;
--- Increasing the storage and transport of temperature requirements.
This standard was proposed by the State Forestry Administration.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements dewaxing shellac, decolorized shellac and dewaxed shellac decolorized of sampling, test methods, inspection rules
And signs, packaging, storage and transportation.
This standard applies to solvent dewaxing, decolorized with charcoal processing shellac.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
From purple or collagen gel particles shellac wax off with a solvent refined processing of shellac.
3.2
From purple or collagen gel particles shellac decolorized with charcoal processing light purple waxy film.
3.3
From purple collagen gel particles or dewaxed shellac decolorized with charcoal and then processed substantially wax-free light-colored shellac.
4. Technical Requirements
Shellac levels should comply with the technical specifications given in Table 1.
5 Sampling
According to GB/T 8142-2008 requirements for sampling and preparation of laboratory samples.
