Foreword
This standard replaces GB/T 7598-1987 "in transformer oil, turbine oil water-soluble acid assay (colorimetry)."
This standard GB/T 7598-1987 and the main technical differences are as follows.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the determination method in transformer oils in a water-soluble acid.
This method is suitable for the operation of transformer oil, other mineral oils Determination of water-soluble acid may be implemented by reference.

Preparation of GB/T 601 chemical reagent standard titration solution
3 Method Summary
Under test conditions, test oil samples mixed with an equal volume of distilled water, whichever is the liquid part of the water out through colorimetric determination of water-soluble oil
acid. Results are expressed as pH. Similarly, the method can be used pH meter, refer to Appendix A; Haili Qi colorimetric, see Appendix B.
4 Reagents and materials
4.1 double distilled water or demineralized water, after boiling, pH 6.0 to 7.0, a conductivity of less than 3μs/cm (25 ℃).
Potassium hydrogen phthalate 4.2. reference reagents.
4.3 potassium dihydrogen phosphate. reference reagents.
4.4 Sodium hydroxide. AR.
4.5 hydrochloric acid. AR, relative density of 1.19.
4.6 sodium phosphate dibasic anhydrous. pure class distinctions.
4.7 pH indicator. bromocresol green, bromocresol purple. Its preparation method and the color range are shown in Table 1.
