| Summary | This standard provides fast and accurate evaluation of steel or copper- zinc alloy castings on a nickel chromium and nickel chromium electrodeposition layer outdoor corrosion resistance approach. Outdoor use of the product in the period and the results of this standard have not been described and explained. For 1. 1 systems other than the sedimentary layers or materials using this test method, this method should first verify that the appropriate relationship with its outdoor use. |

Foreword
This standard is identical with ISO 4539. 1980 "electrodeposited chromium layer of electrolytic corrosion test (EC test)" (in English).
For ease of use, this standard to the following editorial changes.
--- Canceled international standards foreword;
--- Use the "standard" instead of "this International Standard."
This standard replaces GB/T 6466-1986 "electrodeposited chromium layer of electrolytic corrosion test (EC test)." And GB/T 6466-1986 phase
Than the main changes.
--- Increasing the introductory phrase of normative references;
--- According to China standard format re-edited the standard format.
Appendix A of this standard is a normative appendix.
The standard proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation.
This standard layer Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC57) administered by the National Metal and non-metal cover.
This standard was drafted. Wuhan Institute of Material Protection, Zhenjiang City Electric Co., Ltd. COSCO.
The main drafters of this standard. Wong Wing, Yu Jing, Xu Yanfei, Pan neighborhood, JIA Jian new Pan dry, Xia.
This standard replaces the standards previously issued as follows.

Electrodeposited chromium layer
Electrolytic corrosion test (EC test)
1 Scope
1.1 standard provides fast and accurate evaluation of steel or copper zinc alloy castings - Nickel - Chromium and Nickel - outdoor corrosion resistance of chromium electrodeposited layer side
law. Duration and results of the product in outdoor use, this standard have not been described and explained.
1.2 to 1.1 than other systems or materials deposited layer using this test method, the method should be verified prior to their outdoor use phase
Shall relationship.
1.3 This standard test conditions provided in [1], the electrolytic nickel layer is a layer of chromium by discontinuities (chromium layer is not etched) performed. Electrolytic corrosion
The extent of corrosion rate test is equivalent to using an electrolytic 2min in [2] [3] level. When the nickel layer increases the exposed area quickly (such as high
Density of the sample surface discontinuities chromium), the EC test rate will exceed its outdoor corrosion rate corresponding to the test, in order to ensure the same
Corrosion rate, when the surface of the sample reaches a predetermined current density, by potentiostatic control to the constant current control.
2 Reagents
Using analytical reagent, distilled water or purified water equivalent formulation.
2.1 electrolyte
2.1.1 electrolyte A, zinc for corrosion spots base or steel base sample identification when the indicator solution after electrolysis.
