This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"
drafted.
This document replaces GB/T 6091-2004 "Knife-edge ruler", compared with GB/T 6091-2004, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes
Besides, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) 100, 150, 175, 225 specifications have been added to the knife-edge ruler (see Table 1 and Table 2);
b) The material is increased by stainless steel (see 5.2);
c) Unify the hardness parameters, the hardness requirements increase the hardness of stainless steel (see 5.4.1, 5.4.1 of the.2004 edition);
d) Deleted the straightness tolerance class requirements for the measuring surface of the knife-edge ruler (see 5.4.1 of the.2004 edition);
e) Added inspection conditions (see Chapter 6);
f) The inspection method for appearance is added (see 7.1);
g) The inspection method for the surface roughness of the measurement surface is added (see 7.2);
h) The test method for the hardness of the measuring part is added (see 7.3);
i) The accuracy grades in the marking and packaging (7.1 and 7.2 of the.2004 edition) have been deleted.

3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 17164 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
The measuring surface is in the shape of a cutting edge and is a physical measuring tool used to measure the plane shape error of the workpiece.
3.2
Knife-edge ruler with one measuring face.
3.3
Knife-edge ruler with three measuring surfaces at an angle of 60° to each other.
3.4
Knife-edge ruler with four measuring surfaces at 90° to each other.
