Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 503-1995 "Gasoline octane number determination method (motor method)". This standard and GB/T 503-1995 compared to the main changes are as follows. - the increase in the "Chapter 1 scope" note the effective motor octane number of the test range of 40 to 120 between the expression; --- increase the "Chapter 2 normative reference documents" in China's corresponding national standards and industry standards; - to modify and add some of the terms and definitions in Chapter 3, Terminology and Definitions, Abbreviations; --- Added "Chapter 6 interference factors"; --- modified "Chapter 7 instruments and equipment" content, an increase of the engine, auxiliary devices, standard fuel distribution devices and auxiliary equipment (See Chapter 6 of.1995); - the revision of the "Chapter 8 Reagents and Standards", the standard fuel specification as specified (see.1995 edition Chapter 7); --- Added "Chapter 9 Sampling" to prevent exposure to light and the use of opaque containers to collect and store samples of the relevant content (see.1995 Version 8); --- Added part of "Chapter 10 Benchmarking and Standard Operating Conditions for Engine and Instrument" (see the 9); --- "Chapter 11 engine standardization" and GB/T 503-1995 Chapter 12 content compared to the following changes. a) the frequency of the correction test changes; b) correction of octane number and tolerances in toluene standard fuels for revision of engine calibration; c) intake air mixing temperature adjustment range between 141 ℃ ~ 163 ℃; d) octane range is different, the choice of toluene standard fuels for octane number determination of the different steps. --- the contents of the "Chapter 12 Test Parameters" --- increases the maximum permissible difference between the test results in the "Method A" and the two standard fuels selected in Chapter 13, Method A; --- modify the "Chapter 13 Method A" with the interpolation method to determine the octane number, check the consistency of the operating table; --- Added "Chapter 14 Method B" content; --- modified "Chapter 15 Method C" Compression ratio method is only applicable to the octane number range between 80 and 100 measurements (see.1995 Version 14); - modified the width of the 90 octane level in Chapter 13, Chapter 14, Chapter 15 to 12 to 15 (see.1995 edition 9.18 And 11.4); --- Added "Chapter 16 Method D" content; --- increase the "Chapter 17 octane number calculation" content; --- "Chapter 18 Precision and Deviation" lists the precision and deviation of the methods A, B, C, D, respectively; - Amend the provisions of the "Chapter 19 Report" to interpolate the results of the calculation or the compression ratio test results (see Chapter 15 of.1995). This standard uses the re-drafting method to modify the American Society for Testing and Materials Standards ASTM D2700-12 "Ignition Engine Fuel Standard Test Method for Knocking Octane Number of Motor. The main technical differences between this standard and ASTMD2700-12 are as follows. --- the reference standard will be revised to China's corresponding national and industry standards; - The language of repetition and reproducibility in chapter 19 has been revised in accordance with our country's habits and listed in the form of a form. This standard is proposed by the National Standardization Technical Committee for Petroleum Products and Lubricants (SAC/TC280). This standard by the National Petroleum Products and Lubricants Standardization Technical Committee of Petroleum Fuels and Lubricants Subcommittee (SAC/TC 280/SC1). Guan Hua, Li Shaoyu, Fang Xiaopeng, Xi Jihua, Wang Shanshan, Li Guirong. This standard replaced the previous version of the standard release. GB/T 503-1965, GB/T 503-1985, GB/T 503-1995. Determination of octane number of gasoline - Motor method WARNING - This standard covers certain hazardous materials, operations and equipment, but does not address all safety issues related to this Meeting. Therefore, the user should use the standard before the establishment of appropriate security measures, and determine the applicability of the relevant regulatory restrictions. Related to safety See Appendix A for details of the warning.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the test method for the determination of gasoline octane number (motor method) using a CFR octane number testing machine. This standard is applicable to the determination of the octane number of the ignition engine fuel motor, and is not applicable to fuels consisting mainly of oxygen-containing compounds and Its fuel component. Note. The octane number ranges from 0 to 120, but the effective motor octane number of this standard is in the range of 40 to 120 ° C. Car spark-ignition engine city The fuel octane number is in the range of 80 to 90. The commercial fuel motor octane number of the aviation spark ignition engine ranges from 98 to 102 between. Tests of gasoline blending components or other liquid substances can be obtained at different levels of motor octane number. The values of this standard operating condition are expressed in [SI] International unit units indicate that the brackets in Chinese and English units indicate values for reference and the technical requirements for standard CFR engines are expressed in imperial units.
