3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Sunburn
The intense sunlight caused the fruit surface temperature to rise, resulting in significant moisture loss and the appearance of brown spots with indistinct edges.
The fruit is wrinkled, and in severe cases, the surface is dry, sunken, and has necrotic spots and burns.
3.2
abortive fruit
Fruits that have stopped developing, hardened, or become deformed due to internal physiological factors or external environmental influences.
3.3
Greenberries
Fruits that cannot ripen normally due to nutritional imbalance or insufficient sunlight.
Note. The typical mature color or soluble solids content of the variety has not been achieved.

Fruits that shrink, deform, or become tough or fibrous due to water loss, physiological disorders, or pathogen infection.
