1 Scope

This document describes test methods for evaluating road wear on studded passenger car tires and light truck tires.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in ISO 4223-1, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document. 3.1 Evaluation stone The test stones used in this experimental method to assess road wear are evaluated based on the mass loss of the stones caused by the test run.
