1 Scope
This document clarifies the types of signs for nature reserves and stipulates general requirements for the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of these signs.
This document applies to the planning and design of signage for nature reserves and related areas, as well as the construction and management of nature reserves.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

protected area
Established, delineated, or confirmed by governments at all levels or relevant departments in accordance with the law, these areas include important natural ecosystems, natural relics, and natural landscapes.
The land or sea areas whose natural resources, ecological functions and cultural values are subject to long-term protection.
